Crystal Valley Week
In August, we were your guides to the exhibition With a Passion for Czech Garnet, which was part of Crystal Valley Week. The exhibition at the Liebieg Palace included lectures, workshops for children, an exhibition of SUPŠ and a sale of jewelry.
As part of the program, you could also visit the Granát Turnov Fashion Show, which took place in the palace courtyard, and another Fashion Show at the DPMLJ, which was prepared in cooperation with Ing. arch. Novotná and her brand AjjA.
Český slavík
Our company has been a proud partner of the Czech Nightingale survey for almost 30 years. All awards, including the Radio Impulse Award, which are presented as part of the survey, are created in Turnov.
The main statuette was made of gold-plated silver. Its spiral design symbolizing the nightingale was designed by academic sculptor Helena Hrabová. The statue was set with a total of 89 Czech garnets and one central rock crystal.
Made in Jablonec
The iconic fashion show Made in Jablonec was based on the theme Jewelry in the lead role. A team of 26 people, consisting of fashion designers, clothing and art schools and jewelry companies, participated in the realization of seventy unique models.
Granát Turnov presented two comprehensive collections that were created through the collaboration of our designers and Karolína Jakubů & Magdaléna Mokošová, students of fashion design at the Kateřinky Secondary School in Liberec.
